About this opportunity

This is a senior leadership role within our Hyderabad-based 'Business Intelligence as a Service' (BIAAS) Lab, part of the CIO Enablement function.

The emphasis is on "Enablement" – therefore the lab does not deliver BI Analytics, Dashboards, Visualisations or MI. Instead, it focuses on the design, delivery, and evolution of strategic BI platforms and technologies that empower business teams to create and consume their own content.

We're seeking a leader with solid expertise in enterprise-scale BI platform engineering. You will collaborate closely with technology vendors and internal teams across Cloud Computing, Networking, Security, Architecture, and more – and a strong foundation in Software Engineering Principles, Platform Enablement Patterns, and the associated challenges are essential to be successful in this role.

We are entering an exciting new era where AI and intelligent Agents are set to transform our BI platforms, and a strong understanding of these technologies - and their application across BI services - will be a significant advantage.

You will lead and grow a local team of BIAAS Platform and Infrastructure Engineers. You will balance technical leadership with strong people and delivery focuses. Your role will be pivotal in shaping and delivering the highest quality, customer-centric, integrated platform solutions, while mentoring and motivating your team to achieve excellence.

• Driving continuous improvement across our On-premise and Cloud BI Platforms

• Designing and delivering Conversational Analytics solutions
• Design and governance of a robust BI Knowledge Layer
• Incorporating "Agentic" capabilities across our BI services
• Simplifying and innovating across the BI estate
• Strengthening relationships with key internal stakeholders and third-party partners to support our BI strategy
