About the Job

We are a home health agency building a smart AI assistant (like ChatGPT) to help our nurses and staff with patient care, hospice rules, and agency procedures. We need a Full Stack Developer to build both the "brain" (backend) and the "face" (frontend) of this tool. If you enjoy working on both sides of software and want to make a difference in healthcare, this role is for you

What You Will Do

  • Backend Development:
  • Build and maintain the AI's "brain" using Python.
  • Create APIs (pathways for software to talk to each other).
  • Work with AI/ML tools (like OpenAI, LangChain, or Hugging Face) to train the assistant.
  • Store and manage data securely (using databases like SQL or NoSQL).
  • Frontend Development:
  • Design simple, user-friendly web pages for our staff to interact with the AI.
  • Use HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (or a framework like React or Vue) to bring the AI to life.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Work with healthcare experts to make sure the AI gives safe, accurate answers.
  • Test the AI regularly and fix bugs.
  • Suggest improvements to make the tool better over time.

We Are Looking For Someone With

  • Experience building full stack applications (both frontend and backend).
  • Strong skills in Python (for backend).
  • Knowledge of frontend technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a modern framework (React, Vue, etc.).
  • Familiarity with APIs (creating or connecting them).
  • Basic understanding of databases (SQL or NoSQL).
  • Problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new things.
  • Good communication skills (you'll work closely with our healthcare team).

It's a Plus If You Have

  • Experience with AI or machine learning (e.g., OpenAI API, TensorFlow, or similar).
  • Knowledge of cloud services like AWS or Google Cloud.
  • Understanding of data privacy and security (important for healthcare).
  • Any background or interest in healthcare.
