JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a passionate, hardworking and talented Quality assurance who has experience in testing CMS solutions (Sitecore, Sitefinity, UMBRACO). You will have an enormous opportunity to make a large impact and work on cutting edge technology. You will engage with experienced cross-disciplinary teams to develop websites.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Test projects ranging from websites, microsites, and CMS solutions on estimated given timelines.
  • Ensure that the client relationship remains healthy by delivering consistently bug-free projects.
  • Support the QA team in the coordination of deployment activities and integration throughout the QA life cycle.
  • Work with the development teams to understand the architecture of new and existing websites. Knowing CMS (Umbraco, Sitefinity and Sitecore).
  • Should be able to configure/manage Postman for API testing.
  • Create and design detailed and well structured Test Plans and Test Cases documents from HTML markup, functional requirement documents and design.
  • Conduct meetings with the client and share required input.
  • Review project related and SRS technical documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
  • Estimating, prioritizing, planning and coordinating testing activities.
  • Thoroughly Identify, record, document and track bugs.
  • You have to run different testing techniques and strategies on software or applications and analyse defects to improve their quality.
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
  • Work closely with the PMO team to understand each detail of a project and its requirements.
  • Effectively multi-task and manage priorities to address testing requirements in a dynamic project setting.
  • Take full ownership of projects and ensure that projects delivered to the specifications are bugs-free and pixel perfect.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1 year of working experience as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer
  • A candidate must be proactive in their approach.
  • Highly adaptable to learning new tools.
  • Successful at working in an environment with websites that have high data volume, strict performance requirements and 24X7 uptime.
  • Excellent track record of successfully testing projects from initiation to completion.
  • Solid understanding of STLC & SDLC.
  • Having experience in Security, Load, Stress, API, Cross Browser and user acceptance testing.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You're constantly looking for ways to improve the process.
  • Passionate about delivering a quality product and you have the guts to challenge others to make sure the quality isn't compromised.
  • Experienced in Functional, Smoke, Sanity, Regression, and Integration Testing.
  • Great hands-on over Cross Browser & Cross Devices Testing.
  • Comprehensive test cases documentation skills.
  • You might not be a designer or developer, but you understand what they're up against.
