About Us

Rigel AI is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced SQA Engineer to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our software products. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and documenting both manual and automated testing processes, identifying issues, and collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and designers to deliver exceptional user experiences.

This role is ideal for someone with strong problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for building scalable, and user-friendly applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

  • Perform manual and automated testing across web and mobile applications.

  • Execute functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing to ensure product quality.

  • Identify, document, and track bugs/issues in collaboration with the development team.

  • Ensure software meets business requirements, UI/UX standards, and technical specifications.

  • Set up and maintain automation frameworks for faster regression cycles.

  • Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless defect resolution.

  • Perform cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and testing methodologies.

  • Provide clear, concise, and actionable feedback to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 2+ years of professional experience as a QA Engineer (manual + automation).

  • Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

  • Hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).

  • Proficiency in API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured.

  • Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or k6.

  • Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Ability to write clear, detailed test plans and bug reports.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote team.
