As the Manager of Finance Treasury at Simpaisa, the individual will oversee all treasury operations and reporting tasks on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Your role will involve managing cash flow, liquidity, and risk, ensuring compliance with financial policies, and providing insights for decision-making. You will demonstrate strong analytical and leadership skills to effectively manage team tasks and drive strategic financial initiatives. Your ability to prioritize and make informed decisions will be crucial in optimizing the treasury function and supporting the organizations financial health

As the Manager of Treasury Finance, you will be responsible for:

1.    Bank Relationship Management: Monitor and maintain effective relationships with banks to optimize financial services and terms.

2.    Cash Availability: Ensure sufficient cash is available for daily operational needs, supporting smooth business operations.

3.    Remittance Management: Manage remittances and its data and ensure timely and accurate reporting.

4.    Merchants Management: Oversee the management and reporting of merchants' ledgers.

5.    Foreign Exchange Management: Handle FX data and reporting, assessing impacts on the company's financial standing.

6.    Treasury Assistance: Assist the Head of Department (HOD) in managing overall consolidated treasury tasks.

7.    Cash Management Improvement: Provide suggestions for enhancing the companys cash management processes.

8.    Ad-hoc Responsibilities: Undertake any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned, demonstrating flexibility in response to organizational needs.

9.    Cross-Border Transactions: Contribute to cross-border pay-ins and payouts, ensuring compliance and efficiency.

Eligibility Criteria:

- ICMA/ACCA/CA Qualified or Part Qualified or masters degree in finance, or in a related field from a reputed university.

- Minimum of 5 of relevant experience within the financial services industry.

- Proficient in cash forecasting and cash management techniques, with a proven ability to optimize liquidity.

- Knowledge of short-term funding strategies, currency risk management, and foreign exchange transactions.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.

- Self-motivated and able to work independently, taking ownership of projects and delivering results within deadlines.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
