The Division:

Mediqal H.I. provides a clinical and patient management system designed specifically for renal service providers. Its health record system has been in continuous clinical use since 1999 and is installed in multiple sites across the UK and the Republic of Ireland.

The Position:

This position performs a variety of Developer duties. Specifically, the Developer works closely with team members and follows all applicable policies and procedures supporting our Renal Software products. The end goal is to meet our business needs, as well as our customer needs through Product Realization.

Key Responsibilities:

The Developer reports directly to the Development and QA Manager and has the following Duties and/or

• Perform development work in the appropriate software language, depending on the assigned project

• Creating and maintaining development documentation for future reference

• Collaborates with team members to define, design and develop new features in our Renal Software products

• Maintain and/or improves our code quality, performance and reliability

• Follow all applicable policies and procedures

• Identify opportunities to drive automation and process improvement across the test ecosystem

• Learn new skills as required

• May perform other related duties as required

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in computer science

• 5 years of development experience in .Net tech stack, knowledge of VB 6 is a plus

• Have an advanced understanding of database concepts as well as the implications of different database designs as well as proficiency in SQL, including constructing complex queries, stored procedures and optimization techniques

• Ability to use more than one software language and technologies, specifically:

o C# & .Net

o VB 6

o Microsoft SQL Server

o Report writing – Crystal Reports and Jaspersoft Reports

o Rest API

o JavaScript

o HTML/CSS

o Perl or any other scripting languages

• Experience with graphical design / user interfaces and building 2D graphic contents

• Strong attention to detail

• Excellent verbal and written skills are required

• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a cross-functional team

• Dependable during assigned shifts and to complete work within specified timelines

• Knowledge and experience of software in the clinical market would also be beneficial

Work Environment:

The majority of work the Developer performs will be on remote servers and/or systems. This work will be performed using the Company provided equipment in the Company office, or from remote if acceptable and explicitly approved by management. May be requested to work overtime for special projects
