We are seeking a detail-oriented SQA Engineer experienced in both manual testing and automation using Cypress. You will be pivotal in elevating software quality by designing, executing, and maintaining comprehensive test strategies across the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute thorough manual testing of web applications to ensure functionality, usability, and adherence to requirements.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts using Cypress for both UI and API testing.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support seamless and efficient delivery.
  • Identify, log, track, and validate bugs and defects using standardized defect tracking tools.
  • Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and execution reports.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA peers to uphold quality standards throughout the lifecycle.
  • Conduct regression, integration, and performance testing as needed to validate application behavior.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in software quality assurance with a mix of manual and automation testing.
  • Proficiency in Cypress, with experience in both UI and API test automation.
  • Strong command of JavaScript/TypeScript, web technologies (HTML, CSS), and REST APIs.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD environments and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps).
  • Experience using defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
  • Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
