Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements).
  • Develop financial reports for internal stakeholders, including leadership, departments, and external auditors.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

  • Lead the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Monitor budget performance and recommend adjustments as necessary to ensure financial targets are met.
  • Collaborate with departmental heads to assess resource requirements and financial performance.

Cash Flow & Treasury Management:

  • Oversee cash flow management, ensuring liquidity and optimizing cash utilization.
  • Manage company investments, working capital, and banking relationships.
  • Forecast and manage short-term and long-term cash requirements.

Taxation:

  • Oversee the company's taxation strategy, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
  • Prepare and review tax filings, ensuring accurate and timely submission of tax returns.
  • Provide strategic advice on tax optimization, tax planning, and potential tax risks.
  • Ensure proper documentation and reporting in alignment with changing tax laws and regulations.

Financial Strategy & Decision Support:

  • Provide leadership with financial insights and recommendations to support strategic business decisions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to assess financial performance and the impact of business operations on financial outcomes.
  • Participate in business planning and mergers/acquisitions activities as required.

Reconciliation & Accounting Operations:

  • Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations.
  • Ensure accuracy in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Maintain proper documentation and record-keeping for all financial transactions.

Experience Required:

  • ACCA candidate is preferred
  • Proven track record in financial reporting, budgeting, analysis, and taxation.
  • Experience in decision-making regarding financial strategy, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Experience managing teams and working with senior leadership.
  • Proficiency in financial software (SAP, Oracle & other ERP Systems.
