SQA Engineer

to join our dynamic team.

Role Overview

As an
SQA Engineer

at SiliconNexus, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of our applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, design test strategies, and implement both manual and automated tests to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and maintain
    test cases and test scripts

for web, mobile, and backend systems.
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand requirements, features, and technical specifications.
- Perform
functional, regression, integration, and performance testing

to ensure product stability and usability.
- Identify, document, and track
bugs and defects

, and work with the development team for timely resolutions.
- Ensure responsiveness and compatibility of applications across multiple devices, browsers, and platforms.
- Contribute to the
QA strategy

, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Continuously enhance testing processes, tools, and documentation.
- Stay updated with emerging
QA technologies, methodologies, and best practices

.

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5 years

of proven experience in
Software Quality Assurance

(manual and automation).
- Strong understanding of
web technologies

(HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and responsive design principles.
- Proficiency in QA methodologies, testing processes, and test lifecycle management.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as
Selenium, Cypress, Jest, or Mocha

.
- Familiarity with
SDLC and Agile methodologies

.
- Ability to design, implement, and manage detailed
test plans and test cases

.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong analytical thinking.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have)

  • Experience with
    CI/CD pipelines

and automated deployment testing.
- Knowledge of
API testing tools

(Postman, JMeter, etc.).
- Exposure to
Accessibility and Security testing

.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
