The Role

We're looking for a
Creative Associate (Animator/Motion Designer)
who can craft visuals that don't just move, but move people.

From snappy social animations and explainer videos to UI motion and brand films, you'll bring stories to life with rhythm, clarity, and creativity. If you can sync timing with meaning, and you love collaborating with designers, writers, and strategists, you'll feel right at home here.

You'll be working on:

1. Motion graphics for campaigns, social media, and brand stories
2. Explainers & product videos that simplify the complex
3. UI & microinteractions that make digital platforms feel alive
4. Pitch films & presentations with motion as narrative glue
5. Collaborations with graphic designers and illustrators to animate static assets

Preferred Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in visual communication design, fine arts, or a related field.
• 2–4+ years in motion design/animation (agency or product studio experience a plus)
• A showreel with story-first work: explainers, brand films, UI motion, and social pieces
• Fluency in After Effects (expressions), Premiere, plus working knowledge of Blender/Cinema 4D (Octane/Redshift nice to have)
• Comfort with UI/micro-interactions, Lottie/Bodymovin, SVG animation, and motion for web/app environments
• Solid grasp of timing, easing, and visual rhythm; can storyboard and translate frames into compelling sequences
• Understanding of formats, codecs, render pipelines, color management, and delivery specs across platforms
• Experience syncing motion with VO/music/SFX; basic sound editing is a bonus
• Ability to animate illustration/branding assets and collaborate closely with designers and writers
• Familiarity with brand systems, motion guidelines, and scaling motion across campaigns and products
• Experience optimizing for social platforms (ratios, safe areas, file size, platform quirks)
• Comfort presenting work, explaining decisions, and iterating based on feedback, fast and gracefully
• Exposure to accessibility in motion (reduced motion, legibility, contrast, captioning)
• Bonus:
  character rigging, 2D/3D hybrid workflows, geometry nodes, particles, or simple simulation work
• Bonus:
  prototype tools (Figma Smart Animate, Principle, ProtoPie, Rive) for interaction previews
• A habit of documenting process (boards, animatics, WIP breakdowns) and keeping files impeccably organized
• Curiosity, craft pride, and the drive to push an idea from "good" to "inevitable."
