Role Overview

We're looking for a talented Shopify Developer with strong SEO expertise to manage and grow Sunday Bazar's online store. The ideal candidate will not only handle website development and customization but also ensure our platform ranks higher in search results and delivers a smooth, conversion-focused shopping experience.

You'll be working alongside marketing, design, and product teams to blend creativity with technical excellence.

What You'll Do

  • Build, customize, and update Shopify websites to meet business needs.
  • Develop responsive designs and modify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Implement SEO strategies (meta tags, structured URLs, schema, site architecture).
  • Improve site speed, mobile-friendliness, and usability.
  • Add and configure third-party apps, APIs, and custom integrations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve site-related technical problems quickly.
  • Create SEO-friendly landing pages and campaign assets for marketing.
  • Perform regular SEO and performance audits, recommending improvements.
  • Keep up-to-date with Shopify updates, e-commerce tools, and Google SEO changes.

What We're Looking For

  • Hands-on experience in Shopify store development & customization.
  • Solid knowledge of SEO principles (on-page, technical, performance).
  • Proficiency in Liquid, JavaScript/jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Familiarity with Shopify apps, APIs, and optimization methods.
  • Understanding of user journey, UI/UX design, and conversion tactics.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Nice to Have (Bonus Points):

  • Shopify Plus experience.
  • Knowledge of SEO tools (Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.).
  • Experience with design software (Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop).

Job Details

  • Timings: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Days: Monday to Saturday
  • Salary: Competitive, based on skills & experience
  • Workplace: Plot #55, Model Colony, Gulshan-e-Jami, Malir (Opposite Malir Cantt Checkpost #2), Karachi
