We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented
Assistant Web Developer
to support our development team. In this role, you will assist in building, maintaining, and troubleshooting websites and web applications. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with basic web development skills who wants to gain hands-on experience while working closely with senior developers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and updating websites and web applications.
  • Convert design mockups (Figma, Adobe XD, PSD) into responsive web pages.
  • Support in coding with
    HTML, CSS, JavaScript
    , and other relevant technologies.
  • Help maintain and customize CMS-based websites (e.g., WordPress, Shopify).
  • Perform basic debugging and troubleshoot front-end and back-end issues.
  • Conduct website testing across browsers and devices for compatibility.
  • Collaborate with designers, content teams, and developers on ongoing projects.
  • Learn and apply best practices in web coding standards and optimization.

Required Skills

  • Basic knowledge of
    HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
    .
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms like
    WordPress
    or similar.
  • Understanding of responsive frameworks (Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, etc.).
  • Basic knowledge of back-end languages (PHP, , or Python) is a plus.
  • Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and ability to follow guidance from senior developers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Computer Science, Web Development, or related field
    (or currently pursuing).
  • Internship, freelance, or academic project experience preferred but not required.
  • Portfolio or sample work demonstrating coding ability is a plus.
