We are seeking a
highly skilled and internationally minded Senior Fashion Designer
with
expertise in leather outerwear and winterwear
to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of global fashion trends especially from markets like the
USA, UK, and Europe
and demonstrate a
strong command over product development, fit accuracy, and pattern control
in leather apparel.

This role demands someone who understands
international torso styling
,
fit expectations
, and is capable of proactively identifying and solving design and construction issues. You will play a critical role in shaping our seasonal collections, elevating product quality, and ensuring our garments meet the highest global standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of leather outerwear & winterwear collections, aligning with global fashion aesthetics, especially those trending in North American and European markets.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to analyze trends, fabrics, styling preferences, and consumer behaviors specific to international buyers.
  • Oversee the entire design process, from concept to final fit, ensuring products meet both creative vision and international fit standards.
  • Work closely with pattern masters to control and refine fit, conducting multiple iterations if needed to achieve perfection in silhouette and comfort.
  • Audit existing styles and analyze customer feedback and return data to identify recurring fit issues; implement corrections in collaboration with the sampling and technical teams.
  • Maintain and update technical documentation, including size charts, grading tables, task sheets, and fitting records tailored to international standards.
  • Manage and supervise the pattern development team; assign tasks, review outputs, and ensure pattern masters follow brand specifications.
  • Coordinate with the sampling unit to ensure precise sample execution and on-time delivery.
  • Conduct wear testing with internal and external models reflecting diverse international body types, documenting feedback to further refine fits.
  • Act as a key liaison with the marketing team, delivering all technical data for product launches and assisting in positioning the brand appropriately in global markets.

Qualification & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Technology, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of fabrics, garment construction techniques, and fit.
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and other design software.
