Job Summary:

We are seeking a
reliable, customer-focused Cashier
to join our restaurant team. The ideal candidate will handle all customer transactions efficiently, maintain accuracy in billing, and provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers warmly and process orders accurately through the POS system.
  • Handle cash, credit, and digital payments; balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift.
  • Issue receipts, refunds, or change promptly and correctly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter and cashier area.
  • Coordinate with waitstaff and kitchen teams to ensure smooth order flow.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve billing or payment issues professionally.
  • Assist with end-of-day reports and daily sales summaries.
  • Follow company policies and cash-handling procedures diligently.
  • Ensure a friendly and professional dining environment for guests.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous 2 years of experience as a cashier, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
  • Basic knowledge of POS systems and cash-handling procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Positive attitude and commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
