We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic WordPress Developer with 2+ years of experience to join our team. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for designing and developing visually appealing and user-friendly websites using WordPress and various popular page builders (such as Elementor, Beaver Builder, Divi, WP Bakery,Gutenberg etc.). You will also be involved in basic theme and plugin customization to meet specific project requirements.

Job Type: Full Time, On-site

Location: Gulberg-II, Lahore

Salary Slab: 60k - 80k

Night-Shift: 7:00 PM - 4:00 AM

Working Days: Monday- Friday

Responsibilities:

  • Design and build responsive WordPress websites using a range of page builders, with a strong emphasis on creating intuitive user experiences.
  • Customize WordPress themes and plugins to achieve desired functionality and design aesthetics.
  • Translate design mockups and wireframes into functional and high-performing WordPress sites.
  • Ensure websites are optimized for speed, performance, and mobile responsiveness across different devices and browsers.
  • Conduct basic website maintenance, updates, backups, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate effectively with our design, content, and marketing teams to deliver high-quality web projects.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress trends, tools, new page builder features, and best practices.
  • Perform basic debugging and resolve simple technical issues related to themes, plugins, and builder functionalities.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience developing WordPress websites.
  • Proficiency in using one or more popular WordPress page builders (e.g., Elementor, Beaver Builder, Divi, WP Bakery, Oxygen Builder). Please specify which builders you have significant experience with in your application.
  • Solid understanding of WordPress core, theme hierarchy, and plugin ecosystem.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS for styling adjustments and minor customizations.
  • A foundational understanding of JavaScript and PHP for basic troubleshooting and customization is a plus.
  • Experience with responsive and adaptive web design principles.
  • Ability to work from design mockups (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD) and translate them accurately into functional websites.
  • A keen eye for design, typography, and attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Ability to manage your time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Desirable (But Not Essential):

  • Familiarity with basic SEO principles and implementation.
  • Experience with image optimization and website speed optimization techniques.
  • Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and testing.
  • Experience with basic website security practices.
  • Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
  • Experience with WooCommerce for basic e-commerce setups.
