Key Responsibilities1. Procurement & Vendor Management

  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive prices, favorable payment terms, and reliable delivery schedules.
  • Maintain supplier database and evaluate performance through KPIs (quality, lead time, cost, reliability).
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and ethical sourcing standards.

2. Logistics & Distribution

  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and transporters for import/export and domestic distribution.
  • Ensure proper documentation for customs clearance and regulatory compliance.
  • Track shipments and proactively resolve delays or disputes.

3. Inventory & Warehouse Management

  • Monitor inventory levels to avoid stock-outs or overstock situations.
  • Coordinate with warehouse teams for timely storage, dispatch, and record accuracy.
  • Implement inventory control techniques such as FIFO/FEFO and cycle counting.

4. Demand Planning & Coordination

  • Work closely with sales, production, and finance teams to forecast demand and plan supply accordingly.
  • Align procurement and logistics plans with production schedules.
  • Analyze market trends, lead times, and seasonal factors to optimize planning.

5. Reporting & Analytics

  • Prepare and present supply chain performance reports (cost savings, supplier performance, lead times, stock levels).
  • Use ERP systems (such as Odoo / SAP / Oracle) for order management and tracking.
  • Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field. (MBA preferred).
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Knowledge of international trade regulations, incoterms, and shipping procedures.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (Odoo, SAP, Oracle, etc.) and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
