We are seeking a motivated QA Intern to join our Quality Assurance team. This internship will provide hands-on experience in manual testing, automation basics, API testing, and performance testing. You'll collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product managers to ensure the delivery of high-quality, bug-free software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in testing web and mobile applications for functionality, usability, and performance.
  • Execute test cases, identify bugs, and document findings clearly in Jira, Trello, or Asana.
  • Participate in daily Scrum meetings, sprint planning, and reviews.
  • Perform regression testing after bug fixes or new feature releases.
  • Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and verify resolutions.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of test documentation (test cases, test plans, bug reports).
  • Learn and support API testing using tools like Postman.
  • Learn and apply automation concepts using Playwright or Cypress (under supervision).
  • Participate in performance testing using JMeter and report results.
  • Research and suggest improvements for QA processes and tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or currently enrolled).
  • Basic understanding of software testing concepts (manual, functional, regression, smoke testing).
  • Familiarity with SDLC and STLC.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
  • Eagerness to learn new testing tools and technologies.
  • Basic familiarity with Jira, Postman, or any test management tool (a plus).
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS, API basics, or SQL will be a plus.
