We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated QA Engineer with 1–2 years of experience in software quality assurance. The ideal candidate will assist in functional, UI, regression, and exploratory testing efforts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products.

What You'll Do

  • Execute manual test cases and report bugs using a defect tracking system
  • Understand and analyze business requirements to create relevant test scenarios
  • Collaborate with developers and product teams to resolve quality issues
  • Perform regression and smoke testing during software releases
  • Document test results, test cases, and maintain test artifacts
  • Participate in sprint planning and daily stand-ups

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2–3 years of experience in software quality assurance and manual testing.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience in executing manual test cases for functional, UI, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing.
  • Proficiency in using defect tracking tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to understand and analyze business requirements to design relevant and effective test scenarios.
  • Experience in documenting test plans, test cases, and test results.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and participation in sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams including developers and product managers.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
