Job Description:

  • Corporate Governance: Assist in managing corporate governance matters, including board meetings, shareholder resolutions and corporate filings. 
  • Contract Review & Negotiation: Draft, review and negotiate a variety of contracts, including commercial agreements, partnership agreements, licensing agreements and NDAs
  • Regulatory Compliance: Assist in ensuring compliance with relevant financial services regulations, data protection laws and industry-specific rules. Support the team in responding to regulatory inquiries and audits.
  • M&A & Investments: Assist in due diligence and legal aspects of mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and investment transactions.
  • Risk Management: Identify and advice on potential legal risks, liabilities and exposures associated with the company's operations, products and services.
  • Litigation Support: Provide support in dispute resolution, including managing external counsel and developing strategies to address legal challenges.
  • Advisory Support: Provide day-to-day legal advice to business teams on a variety of issues, such as product development, marketing, intellectual property and customer agreements. 

Qualification and Experience:

  • LLB/LLM or Relevant Degree
  • 2-4 Years of experience in Banking industry
  • prior banking experience is mandatory
