Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant located in Lahore. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, handling accounts payable and receivable, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The Accountant will also assist with tax preparation, financial audits, and provide support in financial planning and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all accounting transactions in QuickBooks Online/Desktop.
  • Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable in a timely manner.
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations and manage cash flow.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including Balance Sheets, Income Statements, and Statements of Cash Flow.
  • Assist with payroll processing and related journal entries.
  • Manage the general ledger and ensure all entries are accurate.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
  • Prepare and file tax returns (e.g., GST/VAT, sales tax) as required.
  • Collaborate with the management team to provide financial insights and support decision-making.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of [e.g., 3-5] years of professional accounting experience.
  • Proven, hands-on proficiency with QuickBooks Online and/or QuickBooks Desktop is essential.
  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
