About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer with solid experience in Java (J2EE), Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs to join our team. You will play a key role in building scalable backend systems for an enterprise-grade application focused on order booking, inventory management, cash van sales, and merchandising. Experience with AWS services, Docker, and CI/CD tools is essential.

Key Responsibilities

· Design, develop, and maintain microservices using Java (J2EE) and Spring Boot

· Develop and document RESTful APIs for frontend and service-to-service communication

· Integrate AWS services such as EC2, RDS, S3, Cognito, MSK (Kafka) into backend systems

· Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality software

· Write clean, testable, and scalable code using industry best practices

· Utilize Git for version control and JIRA for task management and sprint tracking

· Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration pipelines via Jenkins

· Build and manage Docker containers for development and deployment environments

· Debug and troubleshoot issues in production and staging environments

· Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability of backend systems

Required Skills

· years of backend development experience with Java (J2EE)

· Proficiency in Spring Boot and microservices architecture

· Strong command of RESTful API development and integration

· Hands-on experience with AWS Services (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, etc.)

· Knowledge of Docker for containerization and deployment

· Experience with Jenkins for CI/CD automation

· Proficient in Git and working in an Agile environment using JIRA

· Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Preferred Experience (Plus Points)

· Experience working on order booking, merchandising, inventory management, or ERP integration

· Familiarity with Kafka or other message queues

· Exposure to Spring Cloud Gateway, OAuth2/JWT authentication, and Cognito
