Technical Expertise:

  • System administration (Windows/Linux servers)
  • Networking (LAN/WAN, switches, routers, firewalls)
  • Virtualization and cloud environments (VMware, Azure, AWS preferred)
  • IT security and backup management
  • DevOps tools and automation (optional but desirable)

Role Description

  • Design processes to ensure a high degree of meter data integrity through control and audit of processes and procedures used to capture, validate and estimate data.
  • Continuously enhance meter data management and technology systems to improve meter data collection and reporting to address operational and/or regulatory needs.
  • Ensure quality control checks are performed to ensure that data management systems are functioning properly and delivering quality data to AMI system.
  • Responsible for ensuring the execution, validation, edits and estimation of collected meter data prior to it being used for billing, and takes action to investigate and reconcile any data gaps when necessary.
  • Ensure meters, data and processes meet all regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience:

Minimum
5 years

in IT operations, infrastructure, or system administration roles. Strong understanding of IT governance, security best practices, and compliance standards. Good problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
