We are looking for a detail-oriented, creative, and reliable
Video Editor
to produce short-form video content for social media. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with talking-head content, adding engaging visual elements, and delivering polished, professional-quality edits that stand out online.

Scope of Work

  • Approx.
    44 edited videos per month
  • 32 talking head videos
    (under 120s each)
  • 12 looping reels
    (under 15s each)
  • Total content: approximately ~
    88 minutes

Responsibilities

  • Edit and enhance raw video content into ready-to-publish social media videos.
  • Color correct and enhance visuals for a consistent, professional look.
  • Mix and balance audio for clarity and consistent volume across platforms.
  • Add accurate captions using provided scripts:
  • Captions must be free of spelling/grammar errors.
  • Captions must follow a provided style guide (color, format, best practices).
  • Integrate b-roll footage or relevant visuals (from provided library or open source) to break up talking-head content and make videos engaging.
  • Collaborate on feedback and revisions using
  • Organize deliverables within a structured file system for easy access and publishing.

Workflow

  1. Raw files uploaded into an organized folder system.
  2. Editor creates draft videos with captions and edits.
  3. Feedback and review provided through
  4. Revisions made and videos finalized.
  5. Approved videos moved to a delivery folder.

Requirements (Mandatory)

  • Proven portfolio of short-form video edits (Reels, TikToks, or YouTube Shorts).
  • Prior experience with
    Reels and YouTuber-style video editing
    (portfolio must clearly demonstrate this).
  • Strong skills in color correction, audio mixing, and captioning.
  • Ability to source and integrate b-roll or stock footage effectively.
  • Knowledge of Graphics and visual storytelling
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • High attention to detail, especially with subtitles.
  • Familiarity with or willingness to learn.
  • Consistent communication and ability to meet deadlines.
