Job Title: Video Editor – Gaming & Animation

Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor with a strong passion for gaming and esports. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing, producing, and delivering high-quality video content, including gameplay highlights, esports tournaments, promotional trailers, live streams, and social media videos. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, storytelling ability, and a deep understanding of gaming culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit and produce engaging video content such as highlights, trailers, event recaps, and promotional assets.
  • Work with raw gameplay, live streams, and esports footage to create compelling stories.
  • Collaborate with content creators, marketing, and design teams to align videos with brand guidelines.
  • Add motion graphics, VFX, sound design, and animations to enhance video impact.
  • Optimize videos for multiple platforms (YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, Instagram, Twitter).
  • Maintain consistency in branding, style, and tone across all content.
  • Stay updated on gaming & esports trends, memes, and editing styles popular with the community.
  • Manage video assets, archives, and ensure timely delivery of projects.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a video editor (portfolio of gaming/esports content preferred).
  • Proficiency in editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
  • Strong knowledge of gaming & esports culture, titles, and event formats.
  • Skills in motion graphics, animation, and sound design are a plus.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative storytelling with attention to pacing, style, and audience engagement.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with esports organizations, gaming studios, or content creators.
  • Familiarity with streaming platforms (Twitch, YouTube Gaming, Kick).
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Passionate gamer with a good understanding of esports tournaments and audience expectations.
