About the Job

The role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with IFRS and company policies. It involves managing the general ledger, fixed asset register, liabilities, provisions, and monthly reporting packs with analytical insights to support management decision-making.

Core Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely completion of month-end and year-end closing processes, meeting all reporting requirements.
  • Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS, including relevant notes to the accounts, and management accounts as per reporting requirements.
  • Act as custodian of the General Ledger, ensuring accurate and true representation of balances across all ledgers.
  • Manage the Fixed Asset Register and perform reconciliations in line with company policies and SOPs.
  • Record month-end liabilities and provisions accurately and within deadlines.
  • Submit monthly management reporting packs/workings with analytical insights on MTD and YTD company performance.
  • Support business process reviews to ensure adequate internal controls are in place to safeguard and support operations.
  • Coordinate with external auditors to ensure timely completion of statutory audits within agreed timelines.

Requirements

Qualification:
ACCA / CA (Part-qualified)

Experience:
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience; prior exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP will be an added advantage.

Skills:
Strong analytical ability, effective interpersonal and communication skills, team-oriented, and capable of working independently.
