Job Overview

We are seeking a talented ExpressJS Developer with strong experience in MongoDB to design and build robust, scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate should have proven expertise in creating complex APIs, managing database operations, and optimizing query performance. Experience with ERP development or large-scale backend systems will be a strong advantage.

This is an on-site position, so we are specifically seeking candidates based in or near Rawalpindi / Islamabad.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using ExpressJS.
  • Write and optimize complex MongoDB queries, aggregations, and indexing strategies.
  • Manage database operations, including schema design and performance tuning.
  • Integrate APIs with front-end and third-party systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define backend architecture and data flows.
  • Write clean, modular, and maintainable code following best practices.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing backend systems.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure high code quality standards.

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of experience as an ExpressJS or backend developer.
  • Hands-on experience with MongoDB, including complex queries, pipelines, and performance optimization.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practices.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Experience integrating APIs with front-end or mobile applications.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and Agile workflows.
  • Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
