Position Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our team and support our financial planning and analysis activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting and excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Support management with data maintenance and management reporting on a fortnightly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and financial trends.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
  • Analyze financial data and performance metrics to provide insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with department heads to gather information and ensure accurate reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Monitor budget performance and variance analysis, providing timely reports and insights to management.
  • Work closely with department leaders to track expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and optimize resource allocation.
  • Communicate financial insights clearly and concisely to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and scenario analysis.
  • Undertake special projects and ad hoc analysis as required by management.
  • Provide analytical support for business development initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, and reporting.
  • ACCA or similar professional qualification.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial software and tools is a plus.
