Job Summary:

The Assistant Commercial will support the Commercial Department in managing procurement, documentation, vendor coordination, bid preparation, and contract administration activities. The role involves close coordination with internal teams and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate execution of commercial and administrative processes in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of commercial bids, tenders, and quotations in compliance with client requirements.

Prepare and process Purchase Requests (PRs), Purchase Orders (POs), and related documentation.

Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for quotation collection, price comparison, and delivery follow-up.

Maintain and update vendor database, price records, and procurement logs.

Support the Commercial Manager in contract review and documentation.

Prepare costing sheets, comparative statements, and analysis reports for management review.

Ensure timely submission of bid documents including technical and financial proposals.

Liaise with the Accounts Department for invoice verification and payment follow-ups.

Maintain organized records of correspondence, agreements, and commercial files.

Support in import documentation, LC processing, and coordination with freight forwarders (if applicable).

Perform other commercial and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputed University.

Experience: 1–3 years of experience in commercial, procurement, or tendering role (preferably in engineering or construction sector).

Strong command of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Familiarity with ERP or procurement systems

Basic understanding of import/export documentation

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Detail-oriented and well-organized

Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Strong analytical and documentation skills
