Job Summary: This is a full-time, on-site role for a Video Editor/Creator. We are seeking an experienced and creative Video Editor with 5+ years of professional experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing, editing, and delivering high-quality video content that aligns with brand guidelines and project objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of storytelling, post-production workflows, motion graphics, and the latest editing tools to create engaging videos for digital, broadcast, and social platforms.

Video Editor Duties & Responsibilities

  • Edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos, ensuring logical sequencing and smooth transitions.
  • Collaborate with creative directors, producers, and marketing teams to understand project objectives and bring concepts to life.
  • Add music, sound effects, graphics, and visual effects to enhance storytelling.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all video projects.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver within deadlines.
  • Optimize videos for different platforms (YouTube, social media, broadcast, etc.).
  • Maintain organized project files and adhere to version control best practices.
  • Stay updated with the latest video editing trends, tools, and techniques.
  • Mentor and guide junior editors when required

Skills & Qualification

  • Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, Communication, or related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of professional video editing experience.
  • Proficiency in editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and After Effects.
  • Strong knowledge of motion graphics, color correction, and audio editing.
  • Creativity and a keen eye for visual storytelling and detail.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Portfolio demonstrating a variety of editing styles and completed projects.

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience in corporate, digital marketing, or entertainment video production.
  • Knowledge of 2D/3D animation and graphic design is a plus.
  • Familiarity with camera equipment and production techniques.

Shift Timings:

  • Morning Shift (10am to 7pm)

Location:

  • Near Driving License office, Korangi, Karachi

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs150, Rs200,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
