We're Hiring Junior Technician – OFAN (Optical Fiber Access Network)

Location: PECHS Block 6, Shahrah Faisal, Karachi.

Job Type: Full-Time

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Junior Technician – OFAN to join our growing team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about fiber optics and want to build a career in the ISP/telecom industry. You'll assist in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fiber optic connections to ensure uninterrupted and high-quality service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the installation and configuration of fiber optic cables and related equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance and support tasks for the optical fiber network.
  • Troubleshoot fiber issues and restore connectivity as needed.
  • Support senior technicians in fieldwork and technical assignments.
  • Maintain accurate records of jobs completed and materials used.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or certification in Telecommunication, Electronics, or related field.
  • Basic knowledge of fiber optics and network configurations.
  • Willingness to work in the field and on-call as needed.
  • Ability to handle tools and fiber splicing equipment.

Fresh candidates or those with 6 months to 1 year experience are encouraged to apply.
