Odoo - Functional consultant – JD

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Odoo Functional Consultant to analyze business processes, implement Odoo ERP solutions, and provide expert guidance to clients. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Odoo modules, customization, and integration, ensuring smooth adoption and optimization of the system.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirement Analysis & Solution Design:

  • Gather business requirements from clients and map them to Odoo modules.
  • Recommend best-fit Odoo solutions (e.g., Sales, CRM, Inventory, Accounting, HR, Manufacturing).
  • Prepare functional specifications for customizations.

Implementation & Configuration:

  • Configure Odoo modules based on client needs.
  • Customize workflows, reports, and dashboards.
  • Set up user roles, access rights, and security settings.

Testing & Training:

  • Conduct system testing (UAT) and resolve functional issues.
  • Train end-users and create documentation (user manuals, process flows).

Support & Optimization:

  • Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting.
  • Recommend process improvements and system enhancements.

Client & Stakeholder Management:

  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and business users.
  • Ensure client satisfaction through effective communication and timely delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Must-Have:

  • 2+ years of experience as an Odoo Functional Consultant or similar role.
  • Strong expertise in Odoo modules (e.g., Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, HR, Project).
  • Hands-on experience in Odoo configuration, customization, and workflows.
  • Knowledge of Odoo Studio, reporting (QWeb, PDF), and dashboards.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Good to Have:

  • Basic understanding of Odoo technical aspects (Python, XML).
  • Experience with , Odoo Community vs. Enterprise.
  • Certification in Odoo functional training.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication & client-facing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field.
  • Odoo Certification (preferred but not mandatory).
