Background

Agile Tech Solutions Leibbrand (ATS-Leibbrand) is a Germany-based consultancy specializing in digital transformation, process automation, and Power Platform solutions for international development projects and agile organizations.

To expand its network of technical experts, ATS-Leibbrand seeks to engage freelance junior experts with experience in Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, and SharePoint, combined with project management expertise (MS Project, PMP-certified), to deliver high-quality digital tools and workflow automation for its growing portfolio of clients.

Assignments are typically performed remotely, with collaboration across global project teams and partner organizations. Experts will work on a per-job basis and may support multiple short-term or medium-term engagements with startup-like agility.

Objective of the Assignment

The objective is to provide technical design, development, and implementation support for Microsoft-based digital solutions under ATS-Leibbrand projects. The expert will contribute to the architecture, configuration, automation, visualization, and management of digital systems that enhance operational efficiency, monitoring, and collaboration across multilingual and multicultural environments.

Scope of Work and Key Responsibilities

A. Power Platform Development

• Design and develop Power BI dashboards for project performance, KPI tracking, and donor reporting.
• Build Power Automate workflows to automate approvals, document routing, alerts, and data synchronization.
• Create and maintain Power Apps for mobile or desktop interfaces supporting operational workflows.
• Integrate Power Platform components with SharePoint lists, libraries, and metadata structures.

B. SharePoint & Microsoft 365 Integration

• Configure SharePoint sites, document libraries, metadata, and permissions aligned with project governance structures.
• Develop intuitive, user-friendly SharePoint pages for collaboration and reporting.
• Ensure alignment with ATS-Leibbrand's Digital Transformation Framework for folder and naming standards.

C. Project Management and Coordinatio
n

• Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and resource tracking using Microsoft Project.
• Apply PMP or PRINCE2 principles for scope definition, risk tracking, and quality assurance.
• Coordinate with project managers, business analysts, and digitalization experts to ensure timely delivery.
• Document processes, workflows, and data models for client validation and knowledge transfer.

D. Training, Handover, and Support

• Prepare clear user manuals and technical documentation.
• Deliver training sessions in English, French, or Arabic for client teams and stakeholders.
• Provide post-implementation support and iterative system improvements using agile methodologies.

4. Deliverables

• Functional Power BI dashboards with data refresh schedules.
• Configured Power Automate workflows with user documentation.
• Power Apps solutions with full deployment instructions.
• Structured SharePoint sites and libraries ready for operational use.
• Project plans or Gantt charts in Microsoft Project format.
• Training materials and delivery reports (English, French, Arabic).

5. Required Qualifications and Experience

Essential:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Hands-on experience in Power Platform development.
• Proven SharePoint configuration and administration experience.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 ecosystem integration.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English

Desirable:

• PMP or PRINCE2 certification.
• Familiarity with Dataverse, Power Query (M), and DAX.
• Good to have certification in
  PL-300
  (Power BI) and
  PL-200
  (Power Platform Functional Consultant)
• Experience working with international development, NGOs, or agile startups.
• Knowledge of data privacy, governance, and version control standards.

6. Duration and Level of Effort

• Engagement type: Freelance, per-job assignment.
• Work modality: Fully remote.
• Level of effort: 5–30 days per engagement.

7. Reporting and Coordination

The consultant will report to the Digital Transformation Lead or designated Project Manager of ATS-Leibbrand. All communication and deliverables will be coordinated through ATS-Leibbrand's secure Microsoft 365 environment.

8. Payment Terms

Payment will be made on a per-job, per hourly rate or per-deliverable basis, upon submission and approval of deliverables and timesheets.
