Overview

Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack (Node + React) – Overjet is hiring a talented and motivated engineer to join our Credentialing Product team, where you'll help streamline operational workflows for dental organizations. We're looking for someone with strong expertise in React and Node who can bring technical excellence and help uplevel the team.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain software solutions that transform our customers' ability to deliver the best outcomes for patients
  • Write efficient and scalable code, ensuring code quality and adherence to best practices
  • Act as a key technical partner to cross-functional teams including Product
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes
  • Regularly scheduled and sometimes ad-hoc on-call rotations are part of the core job of every engineer on our team
Qualifications
  • Excellent academic background in Computer Science or related field
  • Significant relevant experience writing code and delivering products with increasing levels of responsibility
  • Experience with React, Node, and Python
  • Strong familiarity with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, and Microsoft Azure
  • Experience cultivating a strong engineering culture in an iterative, agile environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, technical, and mission-focused environment

Our Hybrid Workplace

We have a unique hybrid workplace that combines in-person teamwork with the flexibility of working from anywhere. Many positions are based in San Mateo, New York City, Boston, Salt Lake City, and Lahore. The Jetsetters in these geo-hubs come to the office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with the option to work from home the rest of the week.
