The Position

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our teams at Contour Software in Karachi, Lahore, or Islamabad. This position is part of the resource center, working as an extension of the division-based R&D department. The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled full stack developer with a passion for delivering high-quality web applications, capable of working independently and collaboratively in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain high-performance web applications using modern frameworks and technologies.
• Participate in the complete software development lifecycle: requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Design and develop responsive front-end interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Kendo UI, and Angular, React, or similar SPA frameworks.
• Build robust server-side logic using C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web APIs, and .NET Core.
• Integrate applications with back-end services and databases (primarily SQL Server), ensuring data security and performance.
• Design, implement, and consume RESTful APIs and SOAP-based services for seamless integration between systems.
• Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code, following best practices for coding standards and design patterns.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Designers, QA Engineers, and other Developers in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and contribute to improving build and deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems as needed.
  
  

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent certification from a recognized technical training institute.
• 5+ years of strong experience in JavaScript and JavaScript-based frameworks for Single Page Application development.
• Strong expertise in web front-end development including HTML, HTML5, CSS/CSS3, Bootstrap, Responsive UI design, and Kendo UI.
• Extensive experience with C#, ASP.NET MVC, and .NET Core.
• Solid experience creating and consuming RESTful APIs and SOAP-based web services.
• Strong skills in SQL Server, including writing complex SQL queries/stored procedures and working with relational databases.
• Familiarity with ORM frameworks such as Entity Framework or Dapper.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Deep understanding of OOP concepts and design principles.
• Proven experience working within Agile/Scrum teams and delivering high-quality, production-ready code.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural and dynamic team environment along with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  
  

Nice to Have

• Experience with .NET Blazor, Xamarin, or MAUI.
• Knowledge of Azure cloud services or AWS.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI/CD.
• Experience working with microservices architecture.
