
Sales Development Representative

Freight Genie is a specialized 'done-for-you' marketing service exclusively serving freight brokers across the US and Canada. Freight Genie isn't a software company or SaaS platform — instead, they offer hands-on sales and marketing support to help freight brokers grow their businesses. This is a fast-paced, fully remote opportunity to join a dynamic and innovative team, work with creative people, and make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct high-volume outbound cold calls to prospects, introducing Freight Genie's services and effectively handling objections to book meetings.
Generate qualified meetings and identify new business opportunities through proactive cold calling.
Collaborate with the marketing team to refine scripts and develop outreach strategies that increase success rates.
Meet or exceed weekly and monthly targets for calls, lead generation, and appointments booked.
Provide regular updates and reports on call activity, lead status, and results.
Contribute ideas to enhance lead generation strategies and improve outreach techniques.
Assist in creating and optimizing cold call scripts.
Work closely with internal departments to ensure alignment and effective communication across teams.
Requirements:
Proven experience in cold calling, appointment setting, or sales-related roles.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to handle objections and confidently convey product value.
Strong goal orientation, with a drive to hit and exceed targets.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

A solid sense of humor and great taste in memes is appreciated.
