Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced WordPress Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience in theme customization, plugin development, front-end development, and a deep understanding of the WordPress ecosystem, including publishing and maintaining themes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customize and develop WordPress themes as per project requirements.
  • Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress plugins.
  • Ensure front-end development is responsive, accessible, and SEO-friendly.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and troubleshoot integration issues.
  • Publish and maintain WordPress themes on staging and production environments.
  • Optimize site performance, speed, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with designers and backend developers to implement new features and enhancements.
  • Perform regular updates, backups, and security checks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven 3+ years of experience in WordPress development.
  • Strong expertise in theme customization and plugin development.
  • Good understanding of WordPress Codex, hooks, filters, and REST API.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Familiarity with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.
  • Knowledge of website deployment, hosting, and theme publishing.
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to meet project deadlines.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with WooCommerce, ACF, or custom post types.
  • Understanding of core web vitals and performance optimization tools.
