Overview

The ColdFusion Training Program at BJS Soft Solutions invites enthusiastic individuals to learn ColdFusion development. This program is designed for those who want to learn and develop skills in ColdFusion development. No prior experience is required; however, a strong foundation in object-oriented programming, sound programming concepts, data structures, and databases is beneficial. BJS Soft Solutions is rapidly growing across the country, building a national network that provides exceptional service to our clients.


Additionally, prior knowledge in programming, data structures, or databases would be advantageous.


Responsibilities
  • Participate actively in the ColdFusion training program to learn and understand the fundamental concepts of ColdFusion development.
  • Engage in hands-on learning experiences to apply object-oriented programming principles effectively.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to best practices.
  • Gain knowledge of data structures and their implementation within ColdFusion projects.
  • Learn how to work with databases in the context of ColdFusion development.
  • Collaborate with mentors and peers to comprehend software requirements and translate them into ColdFusion-based technical solutions.
  • Develop clean and well-structured code following best practices and documentation standards.
  • Troubleshoot and debug code, identifying and resolving issues as part of the learning process.
  • Adapt quickly to new challenges and actively seek guidance when needed.
  • Contribute positively to the team's learning environment and growth by sharing insights and experiences.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Strong enthusiasm and passion for learning ColdFusion development.
  • Basic understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
  • Familiarity with fundamental programming concepts and data structures.
  • Eagerness to work with databases and learn their integration with ColdFusion applications.
  • Ability to grasp new concepts quickly and apply them effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Willingness to commit to a 6-month training program.
