Position Overview:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

What you'll do as the Accounts Payable Representative:

  • Apply independent judgment and demonstrate intellectual abilities in decision-making.
  • Maintain processing of a minimum level of invoices daily.
  • Ensure AP debits are not older than 60 days.
  • Maintain a 99% accuracy level in invoicing, invoice splits, vendor settlement, invoice price variance, and vendor moves.
  • Facilitate processing of invoices through systematic processes including EDI, ensuring matching, debugging issues, and working with vendors and internal teams to improve processes.
  • Research and resolve invoice/PO issues, partner with Zones teams, identify process issues, and work towards resolving AP debits timely.
  • Perform timely and accurate vendor statement reconciliations.
  • Provide daily reporting to the Auburn Accounts Payable team upon completing each file, ensuring completeness and tracking remaining work.
  • Complete ad hoc assignments as needed.
  • Ensure 100% vendor statement reconciliation monthly by the 26th calendar day.
  • Manage EDI 810 invoice processing, aiming for 99% electronic processing and managing error queues.
  • Promptly work with applicable teams to resolve issues that cause exceptions.
  • Meet minimum daily invoice processing targets.
  • Achieve 99% accuracy across all processing activities.
  • Maintain 99% throughput rate on vendors submitting EDI 810 invoices.
  • Submit daily reports by 3 PM PT.

What you will bring to the team:

Education/Certification: ACCA/MBA/BBA in Finance & Accounting or related field.

Required Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable in a high-volume environment (preferably US-based).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience with large ERP systems.
