Manager MIS

TeReSol Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced Manager MIS & Networks to lead and optimize our network operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, leadership abilities, and expertise in managing high-performance network environments.

Experience: 15+ years in an Engineering/IT firm

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Networks, Computer Science, or a related field

Technical Expertise

• In-depth knowledge of network infrastructure technologies, including routing, switching, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Proficiency in network monitoring tools and protocols.
• Strong understanding of data center hardware and physical infrastructure.
• Familiarity with security best practices for network environments.

Leadership Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of network engineers.
• Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide constructive feedback.
• Manage escalations and resolve complex network issues.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Operational Management

• Ensure high availability and optimal performance of network systems.
• Monitor network performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
• Implement network changes and upgrades with minimal disruption.
• Proactively identify and mitigate potential network issues.
• Respond efficiently to network incidents and outages.
• Conduct root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences.
• Coordinate with other teams to resolve complex issues.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders during incidents.

Compliance and Security

• Maintain network security posture by enforcing security policies.
• Regularly review and update network security configurations.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.

Collaboration and Communication

• Work closely with IT teams (storage, server, security) to ensure seamless operations.
• Effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Provide regular updates on network performance and projects.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS).
• Expertise in network switching and routing technologies.
• Experience with VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, and load balancing.
• Proficiency in network segmentation and security best practices.
• Hands-on experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark).

Data Center Operations

• Experience with Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tools.
• Capacity planning and resource optimization.
• Power and cooling management.
• Physical security protocols.
• Disaster recovery and business continuity planning.

System Administration

• Proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Understanding of SAN (Storage Area Networks) and NAS (Network Attached Storage).

Leadership & Management Skills

• Ability to motivate, mentor, and develop team members.
• Effective performance management and goal setting.
• Conflict resolution and team collaboration.

Project Management

• Planning and executing network infrastructure projects.
• Stakeholder management and communication.
• Budgeting and resource allocation.

Communication Skills

• Ability to convey complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Additional Skills

• Vendor Management: Negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships.
• Compliance & Audit: Ensuring adherence to industry regulations and standards.
• Continuous Improvement: Identifying and implementing network optimization strategies.
• Automation & Orchestration: Experience with tools to automate network operations.
