We are looking for an enthusiastic individual, having a minimum three year of relevant experience, for the post of Research and Development Lead. Terms of Reference:

The Research & Development Lead shall be responsible for undertaking the following:

  • Manage and oversee Research and Development Department
  • Strategize ideas for new programs to support organizational objectives
  • Explore funding avenues, both national and international, for financial organizational sustainability
  • Produce concept notes and proposals to bid for funding
  • Initiate and design funding proposals to potential donors
  • Liaise with IRADA donors and funders on contracts and implementation
  • Provide technical support in designing of knowledge products of IRADA programmes/projects
  • Make available on-site and off-site trainings for staff and stakeholders as required by the organization
  • Represent the organization at various fora where required and as appropriate
  • Develop and oversee Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Plan(s) of IRADA programmes/projects
  • Report to the Executive Director as required and assigned
  • Other responsibilities as may be assigned
Requirements
  • Must hold research-based post-graduate degree in Social Sciences or other related development disciplines from a well-reputed, HEC recognized institution
  • Must be skilful in information and digital communication technology
  • Must be proficient in English and Urdu. Proficiency in other national/regional languages will be considered as an additional qualification
  • Must have excellent research (quantitative and qualitative) and writing skills
  • Must have aptitude to work as a team player and deliver the tasks under-pressure
