Business Analyst Job Description:

Roles and Responsibilities

As a Salesforce Business Analyst, you will be part of a team responsible for delivering enterprise cloud technology solutions to Fortune 500 companies and government agencies. Our Salesforce Business Analysts wear many hats on their projects, including requirements gathering, Salesforce configuration, testing, training, and post-deployment support. You will collaborate with Solution Architects and Technical Architects to design, develop, and deploy large-scale enterprise solutions while growing your skill set.

Key roles and responsibilities include:

  • Work with clients and end users to gather, understand, and define business requirements.
  • Develop user stories and to-be process flows to support the design and development of Salesforce solutions.
  • Collaborate with team members to design solutions that meet business requirements and fulfill user stories.
  • Configure Salesforce, AppExchange products, or other cloud-based technologies based on user stories.
  • Work with developers to test and verify that solutions meet business needs.
  • Participate in client meetings, including requirement sessions, system demos, user acceptance testing, and end-user training.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM products to develop client or business solutions.
  • Hands-on experience configuring Salesforce, including workflows, validation rules, and security controls.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to quickly adapt to new clients, needs, and technologies.
  • Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills, along with interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks within a team environment.
  • Flexibility and willingness to undertake various tasks to complete projects.
  • Motivation to learn and develop both technical and functional skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.
  • Bachelor's Degree completed.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience.

Preferred Experience and Skills

  • Experience with AppExchange products and solution development.
  • Experience gathering and analyzing user requirements.
  • Experience documenting user stories and creating process flow diagrams.
  • Experience working with business stakeholders.
  • Experience through the full SDLC in Salesforce implementations.
  • Salesforce Admin Certification and at least one Consulting Cloud Certification (Sales, Service, or Experience).
  • Support experience as a sales engineer with a proven track record.
