BS/BE in Metallurgy, Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering. Candidates should have a minimum of 4 years' experience in cathodic protection design, supervision of cathodic protection systems, coating inspections, and asset integrity inspections. Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, Outlook, and Oracle is required. Well-developed interpersonal skills and strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. Candidates with certifications from TWI, NACE (AMPP), or API are preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Policy and Procedures: Assist management in formulating policies, procedures, and rules related to the Asset Integrity Management system and perform corrosion control work for transmission/distribution pipelines and systems.
  2. Design and Analysis: Design corrosion monitoring and cathodic protection systems, including specifications, calculations, graphic and statistical analysis, power assessment, and survey data evaluation.
  3. Problem Resolution: Resolve cathodic protection and interference issues, implement system adjustments, and oversee corrective actions through corrosion personnel.
  4. Survey Management: Manage various asset integrity surveys, develop coating rehabilitation plans based on survey findings, and monitor the effectiveness of cathodic protection systems.
  5. System Maintenance: Maintain CCT power sources (solar), ground beds, pipe-to-soil potentials, and coatings; perform CCT using impressed current and sacrificial anodes (Mg anodes) on transmission and distribution networks.
  6. Survey Analysis and Asset Integrity: Conduct and analyze different surveys (Thickness, coating integrity, PCM, DCVG, close interval surface potential, interference), and revalidate pipeline integrity assessments to identify vulnerable sections.
  7. Reporting and Guidance: Review corrosion monitoring reports, guide corrective actions, analyze hardware data, and develop in-house repair capabilities for faulty equipment.
  8. Research and Development: Stay updated on new technologies for asset integrity and corrosion monitoring.
  9. Asset Management: Utilize Enterprise Asset Management System for preventive maintenance, material procurement, root cause failure analysis, and monitoring maintenance schedules.
  10. Procurement and Budgeting: Ensure timely procurement of materials and equipment, and assist in preparing and monitoring annual revenue and CAPEX budgets.
  11. Team Management: Manage, motivate, and train staff to provide corrosion control for underground infrastructure, supervise new pipeline projects, and monitor coating status during project handover.
  12. Additional Tasks: Perform any other tasks assigned by senior management.
