Position: Mine Project Engineer

Location: Reko Diq Mine Site – Balochistan

Qualifications: Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering, or Geotechnical Engineering.

Experience: 1-3 years in civil construction, mining, or bulk earthworks.

Requirements: Familiarity with CAD software; strong planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and communicate short-term mine plans aligned with operational objectives and long-term strategies.
  2. Monitor mining activities to ensure compliance with daily plans and adjust designs as necessary.
  3. Track production performance and reconcile with planned outcomes to identify variances and opportunities for improvement.
  4. Coordinate planning and execution of bulk earthworks activities (e.g., pre-stripping, waste dump, stockpile development, haul road construction).
  5. Support civil earthworks projects such as drainage, access roads, pads, and laydowns, ensuring compliance with design specs and environmental requirements.
  6. Work with project and construction teams to integrate mining and civil schedules, especially for infrastructure installations.
  7. Coordinate interfaces between mining and civil contractors as needed.
  8. Provide technical support on mining and civil design issues to operations, contractors, and maintenance teams.
  9. Generate reports on production, plan compliance, and civil works progress.
  10. Assist in preparing daily and weekly reports, including shift handovers and operational updates.
