Job Description

We are seeking a competent Node.js Developer with expertise in backend business applications and web services using Node.js. Candidates should have a thorough knowledge of software development best practices, agile methodology, coding standards, and continuous integration. This is a full-time onsite position.

What We Want From You
  1. Expertise in database architecture and creating RESTful APIs, GraphQL, etc., using Node.js.
  2. Design and build core frameworks on Node.js, shared services, NPM packages, and RESTful/socket APIs.
  3. Experience developing robust backend systems with complex features using MEAN or MERN stacks.
  4. Ability to translate complex requirements into user-friendly experiences following user-centered design principles.
  5. Documentation and adherence to best design and development practices.
  6. Follow best practices for source control, deployment, and issue tracking.
  7. Deep understanding of functional programming and object-oriented concepts in JavaScript.
  8. Evaluate and perform design trade-offs regarding architecture and software components.
  9. Hands-on experience with Ember.js or React.js.
  10. Proficiency with Google Maps APIs and Sockets.
  11. Experience with version control systems such as GIT.
  12. Experience with build management tools like Bamboo, Maven.

Qualifications
  • 2-4 years of professional experience as a Node.js/Backend JavaScript Developer.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, capable of effective interaction with team members in Pakistan or US offices.
  • BS/MS in computer science/engineering or relevant experience preferred.
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies quickly; knowledge of object-oriented design, patterns, and core Java principles.
  • Proven experience with web applications as a Back-End Developer.
  • Experience with automated testing, real-time system integration, database programming, web, and cloud technologies (AWS preferred).
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript, Vue.js, Java Redis, and AWS.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, agile environment.
