Trickle Up is on the lookout for an experienced Art Director who possesses a keen eye for design and a passion for impactful storytelling. As a visionary leader within our creative team, you will oversee the development of brand visuals that not only capture attention but also convey the essence of our mission to empower underserved communities.

Your role will involve collaborating with designers, marketing professionals, and program experts to create compelling campaigns and visual content across multiple channels. You will bring innovative concepts to life, ensuring that all graphic materials align with Trickle Up's brand identity and resonate with our diverse audiences. We are seeking a strategic thinker who is adept at transforming ideas into visually stunning narratives that inspire and engage.

As an Art Director, you will also mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative and creative environment. Responsibilities:

  • Lead the creative vision and execution of design projects, ensuring all visuals reflect the brand's identity and mission.
  • Cultivate a cohesive visual style and oversee design from conceptualization through production.
  • Work closely with cross-disciplinary teams to develop and implement marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Provide guidance and feedback to designers, promoting growth and artistic development.
  • Create mood boards, style guides, and visual presentations to communicate concepts effectively.
  • Manage timelines, resources, and project scopes while ensuring high-quality outcomes.
  • Stay informed on design trends and emerging technologies to keep our branding fresh and relevant.
  • Present design concepts and strategies to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Art, Design, Communication, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in graphic design, with at least 3 years in an art director or leadership role.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and other design software (e.g., Sketch, Figma).
  • Strong portfolio showcasing leadership in branding and design projects.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to conceptualize and execute creative ideas while managing a team.
  • Thorough understanding of digital and print design processes.
  • Experience in non-profits or social enterprises is a plus.
