
Contract Specialist

Develop, negotiate, and evaluate Govt bodies contracts.
Ensure that both parties are complicit with the terms of the contract and that all contracts abide by contract specifications.
Work with contractors/subcontractors addressing questions regarding contracts or claims issues. Troubleshoot with contractors/subcontractors/vendors and provide technical support on contract compliance issues. Keep track of reporting and claiming deadlines and notify contractors/subcontractors/vendors as needed. Assemble and distribute a variety of documents, manuals, and materials. Establish and maintain a wide variety of records and files related to company operations and activities. Operate a variety of standard office equipment including fax machine, scanner, copier, computer, telephone, scale, and communications equipment. Perform other duties as assigned. Research-oriented, proposal writing, project management & coordination.
Job SpecificationLANGUAGE SKILLS: Communicate effectively in both oral and written communication. Exhibit a high level of expertise and professionalism. Follow through on communications made to customers, vendors, and other staff.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this position, the employee regularly works in an office environment. There is low to moderate noise in the work environment.
