Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the position of Energy Contract Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a range of contractual matters related to energy transmission and allied areas.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for vetting draft agreements, providing legal opinions on contractual affairs, and liaising with external legal counsel when necessary.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will also be responsible for managing services and work-products delivered by our Contracts section to ensure strategic alignment and compliance.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Vet draft agreements related to energy transmission and allied matters.
  • Provide legal opinions on contractual affairs.
  • Liaise with external legal counsel when engaged for review of contract terms.
  • Manage services and work-products delivered by our Contracts section.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree in Law with 8 years of post-qualification experience, including at least 3 years of law practice and minimum 3 years of dealing in corporate and regulatory affairs.
  • Master in Law or Barrister at Law is an advantage.
  • Computer literacy required.
  • Knowledge of electricity sector laws beneficial.
