Job Title: Contract Administrator
Qualifications: University degree with a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in contract and/or procurement administration or development, preferably on PMC or EPC type projects. Alternatively, a high school diploma with extensive relevant experience.
Reporting Line: Report to and work as directed by the Contract Specialist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer various contracts and related procurement functions to ensure their smooth execution.
- Manage contractual matters, including claims, disputes, insurance, guarantees, and securities, in accordance with contract requirements and applicable laws.
- Handle legal disputes with local authorities or parties.
- Initiate and prepare Invitation to Tender documents for potential tenders.
- Evaluate technical and commercial proposals from tenders.
- Consult with contractors or suppliers, review quotations, negotiate, and finalize contract terms and conditions.
- Award contracts to contractors or suppliers.
- Conduct progress reviews and meetings as necessary.
- Evaluate contractor/vendor performance and negotiate changes while protecting the company's interests.
- Manage day-to-day contract activities related to the project.
