We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support a fast-growing U.S.-based startup in the fashion and retail industry. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and comfortable managing financial data. This individual will be responsible for monthly bookkeeping tasks, transaction management, and the preparation of key financial reports. Experience with QuickBooks Online is essential.

This is a remote, part-time position with negotiable compensation, ideal for someone looking to contribute to a growing brand with a small transaction volume.

Responsibilities

  • Categorize and reconcile monthly transactions in QuickBooks Online
  • Manage one bank account and one credit card account
  • Prepare monthly Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheet reports
  • Perform timely and organized month-end closing
  • Maintain accurate financial records and communicate updates as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 1–2+ years of hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online
  • Experience with product-based or retail businesses preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and cloud-based accounting tools
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and detail-driven
