Role: OAF Application Development Architect – Oracle ERP

Experience: 12+ years

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle OAF Application Development Architect to lead and contribute to the development of Oracle ERP solutions, with a strong focus on Oracle Application Framework (OAF) customization, extension, and performance optimization. This role requires deep technical expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite R12, OAF development, and integration strategies across Oracle ERP modules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and customize OAF-based applications aligned with business and user requirements.
  • Lead full-cycle OAF development, including personalizations, extensions, and custom pages within Oracle EBS modules.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation (MD070, TE020, CV050, MD120) throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with business users during design, development, and testing phases to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Oversee and review the technical delivery of internal and third-party development teams.
  • Perform code reviews, performance tuning, and Oracle troubleshooting using tools like EXPLAIN PLAN, TKPROF, and SQL TRACE.
  • Support data conversion, migration, and interface development for various Oracle ERP modules.
  • Provide ongoing production support and enhancement of Oracle applications.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
  • 12+ years of total IT experience, with 8+ years in Oracle EBS R12 technical development, particularly in OAF.
  • Relevant Oracle certifications preferred (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional - OCP, Oracle EBS Developer).

Technical Skills & Requirements

  • Strong expertise in OAF development, including personalization, extension, and integration with other Oracle modules.
  • Hands-on experience in Forms, Reports (FSG, XML, BI Publisher), Workflows, Alerts, and Discoverer Reports.
  • Proficiency in PL/SQL, Java, J2EE, and UNIX shell scripting.
  • Experience with RICEW components: Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, and Workflows.
  • Expertise in building and tuning Oracle SQL scripts and performance optimization tools.
  • Deep understanding of Oracle technical documentation standards and project lifecycle deliverables.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally across teams.
